1. Introduction
Welcome to www.merinosuits.com (“Website”), an e-commerce portal operated by Merinosuits. We specialize in premium and branded fabrics including Raymonds, Siyaram's, Reid & Taylor, Digjam, Arvind, and other premium mills.
Use of the Website is offered to you conditioned on acceptance of all terms contained herein. MerinoSuits reserves the right to refuse registration to any user without assigning any reason.
2. User Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- (a) immediately notify Merinosuits of any unauthorized use of your account; and
- (b) ensure you exit from your account at the end of each session.
MerinoSuits shall not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to comply with this clause.
3. Branded Fabrics – Authenticity Guarantee
✅ 100% Genuine Branded Fabrics: MerinoSuits sells only authentic, first-quality fabrics from authorized distributors including Raymonds, Siyaram's, Reid & Taylor, Digjam, Arvind, and other premium brands. We do not sell counterfeit or seconds quality.
Brand names are used solely to describe the products being sold. MerinoSuits is an independent retailer and not an authorized representative of any brand unless explicitly stated.
4. Fabric & Color Disclaimer
⚠️ Color & Texture Variation Disclaimer: Slight variations in color and texture may occur due to dye lot differences, monitor calibration, and lighting conditions. These variations do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for return or exchange.
Fabric Shrinkage: Natural fibers (cotton, wool, linen) may experience 3-5% shrinkage after first wash or dry cleaning. Follow care instructions provided.
5. Returns and Exchange Policy (Fabrics)
✅ Eligible (within 7 days):
- Manufacturing defects (weaving errors, holes, stains)
- Wrong fabric shipped (different design or brand than ordered)
- Damaged packaging affecting fabric quality
❌ NOT Eligible:
- Fabric cut to customer's specified length (cut fabric is final sale)
- Fabric that has been washed, ironed, or altered
- Fabric purchased on clearance or 40%+ discount
- Color or texture variations as described in Section 4
- Swatch orders (non-returnable)
6. Meterage Claims & Dispute Resolution
📹 Video Evidence Required: To claim a shortage in fabric length, you must provide an uninterrupted video recording showing the sealed package opening and full measurement. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery to support@merinosuits.com.
A tolerance of +/- 2.5 cm per meter is industry standard and shall not be considered a shortage.
7. Shipping & Delivery Policy
- We ship across India via trusted courier partners (Delhivery, DTDC, Blue Dart, etc.)
- Standard delivery: 3-7 business days after dispatch (metros: 2-4 days)
- Three delivery attempts will be made. After three failures, the order will be cancelled
- Title and risk of loss pass to you upon shipment to the carrier
8. Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD available for orders up to ₹50,000
- Extra ₹50 fee applies
- COD orders verified by call before shipment. Unreachable numbers = cancellation
- Abuse of COD (repeated refusal) may result in account blocking
