This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed on www.merinosuits.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Shipping Policy
We ship across all over India through our trusted courier partners including:

📦 India Post (for remote locations)
Orders are processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1-2 business days after order confirmation (subject to product availability and payment verification).
📬 Business Days: Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays). Orders placed on Sunday or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Shipping Costs
For all purchases at MerinoSuits within India, we offer:
✅ Free Shipping on all prepaid orders (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, Wallet) – No minimum order value
💰 COD Orders: A flat fee of ₹50 is charged for Cash on Delivery orders (inclusive of GST)
🏷️ Bulk Orders: For orders above 20 meters of fabric or 5+ readymade garments, shipping charges may apply and will be communicated before order confirmation
4. Cash on Delivery (COD)
Cash on Delivery is a payment method available on MerinoSuits.com. It lets you place orders without the need for an advance payment. You pay in cash or via card at the time of delivery.
COD Terms & Conditions:
📍 PIN Code Availability: Cash on Delivery is available only for select PIN codes. Availability is shown at the time of checkout. This is due to limitations of the courier services we use.
💰 COD Charges: An extra ₹50 is charged for all COD orders.
💵 Maximum Order Value: Cash on Delivery will not be available if your order value exceeds ₹50,000.
📞 Verification Call: All orders placed using Cash on Delivery will be verified through a call before shipment. Please ensure your mobile number is correct and reachable.
❌ Unreachable Number: If you’re using COD and your mobile number is not reachable after 3 attempts, your order will be cancelled.
⚖️ COD Abuse: If a buyer places an order using COD and refuses to accept the product at the time of delivery without any valid reason, or repeatedly abuses the COD facility, MerinoSuits reserves the right to take legal action against the buyer and block their account permanently.
⚠️ Important: COD orders require acceptance at the time of delivery. Refusal without valid reason may result in account suspension and legal action.
5. Delivery Timeline
We usually deliver products within the following timeframes after dispatch:

Note: Sometimes due to unavoidable reasons (weather, strikes, courier delays, etc.), delivery may take longer than the estimated time. We will keep you updated via email/SMS in case of any significant delay.
6. Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners will make up to 3 delivery attempts for your order.
Attempt 1 & 2: Courier will attempt delivery during working hours. If you're unavailable, they will leave a missed call or SMS notification.
Attempt 3 (Final): Final delivery attempt will be made. If still unsuccessful, the order will be marked as "Undelivered" and returned to our warehouse.
After Return: If the order is returned due to delivery failure, a refund will be initiated after deducting two-way shipping charges (₹150 for prepaid, ₹200 for COD).
To avoid cancellation, please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the provided address during business hours.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
📧 Email with tracking link and AWB (Air Waybill) number
📱 SMS with tracking link on your registered mobile number
You can also track your order directly on our website by visiting Order Tracking Page and entering your Order ID and email/phone number.
8. Delayed Delivery
While we strive to deliver within the promised timeline, delays may occur due to:
🌧️ Bad weather conditions (floods, heavy rainfall, cyclones)
✈️ Flight delays or cancellations
🚧 Political disruptions, strikes, or bandhs
🌍 Act of God (earthquake, tsunami, pandemic lockdowns)
📦 Courier partner operational issues
📢 Note: In case of significant delays, we will proactively reach out to you via email or SMS. However, MerinoSuits shall not be liable for any mental agony, compensation, or damages caused by delay in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.
9. Order Acceptance at Delivery
Once the order has been confirmed and communicated between MerinoSuits and the consumer:
✅ The consumer is obligated to accept the order at the time of delivery.
🔍 Inspect before accepting: For COD orders, you have the right to open and inspect the package (fabric/product) before making payment. If you find any damage or defect, you may refuse delivery and contact our support team.
📸 For prepaid orders: Please record an unboxing video for any damage claims. Without video evidence, damage claims may be rejected.
